When Ring Zhao bought Ora Gifts Ltd just over
a year ago, she saw an opportunity to expand its
personalised printed promotional products to the
market and has now added conventional printing
to her offering.
Now trading as Ora Printing, Ring runs her
small printing business from Albany’s modern
industrial area, having carved out another niche
for the business, this time in the hospitality market,
alongside their offerings with fabric and plastic
printing, produced digitally and offset.

added digital printing to its offset stable almost
from the time digital fi rst fl ew onto the market.
The company has around 35 staff and had
grown so much from its inception as a twoman
band 27 years ago, that it is now spread
over two Tauranga sites. It is the only provincial
printing business to own and run an 8-colour
Komori perfecting press in the country.
